Mlilo is a Community Based Organisation (CBO) based in Kishushe location of Wundanyi division, 58 Km from Voi town. The Group has 45 members. Apart from tour operations, the group engages in pro-conservation activities including planting trees to restore the various degraded areas in Taita District. |

Mlilo Safari Lodge Camp Site is located in Kishushe location of Wundanyi division from Voi to Ndi railway station about 20Km along Voi/Nairobi highway, 38 Km from Ndii Junction to Kishushe along an earth road. |

Taita Taveta region offers various tourist attractions including wildlife, birds, rock climbing and hiking safaris.
Mlilo Safari Lodge & Tours Group ornaizes tours to some of these attractions, in addition to offering guiding services. The group organizes walking safaris and excursions into different areas of Taita Taveta, including Ngaongao forest and other areas in Taita hills. They also arrange excursios for bird – watching and rock climbing. Guides villages and nature walks with songs, whole day – an assortment of traditional handcraft including the Taita basket and traditional dishes.and dances among other activities.

Mlilo campste is a campsite with limited camping facilities, so one should bring a long Camping equipment, tents & light clothing and pullovers or jackets as at night the weather changes.we provide water and we have qualified cooks who will prepare tasty meals including barbeque at the camp. You can support the group in its plans to establish an Eco-Lodge on a 10 hectare plot that the group has acquired in Kishushe. Ecotourism Kenya has already equipped the group to engage in tourism business by training representatives of the group on the process of establishing and managing successful community – based tourism enterprises. This is therefore a group that is equipped and ready to engage in the business of tourism. The long term goal is to contribute towards environmental conservation through a nature – based enterprise. The group would appreciate assistance in marketing support and in setting up structures on their site. |
